Description - وصف
The Al-Najjarine market in Sidon extends from the entrance to the Greek Orthodox Church in the east to the El-Hayakin market in the west. This market is characterized by its wooden doors that are integrated with ancient stones, arches and windows. In the center of the market there are shops, united in their doors, inscription and color. Inside these shops there are hand-made wooden products such as clogs, old wooden chairs, pallets, sieves, stamps, and others. Many Arab and foreign tourists come to the market to buy souvenirs from the carpenters' productions in Sidon. They consider this craft not only a profession for a living, but rather a preservation of the heritage of this city. What is remarkable is that carpenters have so far continued to preserve this profession and this Sidonian heritage, which they inherited from their fathers and grandfathers.
